Continuing with speedpaints with one more 1,5hrs sketch at your hands. This time tho, with quite different brushes and style + some little texturing to the mix.

Testing brushes..

I've set up the render for 36stairs rollin and meanwhile started playing around with custom PS brushes (mainly, oily lookin ones). This pic took me roughly less than 2hrs. Much more freedom in shapes coming from large brush strokes rather than rigid texture underlay like on the last one. I'm happy with it. And I hope you enjoy it as well.

Cut'n'Paste!

I've tried to get some detailed environment with copy pastin' method for base sketch. Took couple of textures and photos, mashed them with overlays etc to get the basic concept and composition I had in my head and moved on from there with getting the whole mess into final shape which you can see above. This is not an usual way I'm doin my compositions, however, it was quite interesting exercise, as from the very beginning the image is bound to details -> meaning any composition changes would hurt on underlayed texture consistency. Interesting, but definitely not the way I prefer to do the concepts :)

What if Kaneda was a women?

Yea what if? Anyways, again, another cyberpunk genre piece based on classics but this time little spiced-up version of it. Plus, my lovely wife did help me on that with some ref shots I used to texture this out. Hope you enjoy it!
